Enemy Info[]
These… rather unique Monokuma units are produced by the Towa Corporation and are shaped like large balls. This makes it super easy for them to roll over enemies, but it also makes them very vulnerable to Komaru’s Knockback bullet which can force them to roll backwards and over their own allies! That said, these are still Monokumas so they shouldn’t be taken lightly or you just might feel the point of their teeth.
Fight Pattern[]
Ball Monokumas will stand in place and will not walk around. They will wait until a fighter is in range and then use one of two attacks depending on what’s best for the situation. Ball Monokumas are immune to weaker amounts of knockback, however a strong hit from say Ganondorf’s “Doriyah!” will send them rolling straight backwards where they can collide with other enemies and damage them. Ball Monokuma won’t roll back forever though and the distance they roll is determined by how strong the knockback was. If Ball Monokuma rolls back into a wall they will take an extra hit of damage.

If an opponent is on the ground, or close to it, Ball Monokuma will tuck in its arms and roll forwards with gusto to try and slam into them. Ball Monokuma will only roll forward a set distance before it pops back out and stands up. Ball Monokuma will roll right past the edge of a platform making it possible to bait Ball Monokuma to roll to its own death.
Garbage Toss[]
If Ball Monokuma doesn’t think that rolling is the right method of attack it will instead pull out a loaded garbage can and hold it over its head for a moment before chucking the garbage right at the fighter. This garbage can does an effective job of damaging opponents and knocking them back away from Ball Monokuma. When the garbage can makes contact, either with a fighter or with the stage itself, spare bits of garbage will fall out of it. Sometimes the garbage can will drop Banana Peel items or weak Food items that look like half-eaten noodle cups.
