Bags of Dragonite are little bags filled with a mysterious powder that is infused with the energy of ancient dragons. When Ness or one of his friends sprinkles the powder over themselves they’ll temporarily turn into a large dragon and unlead a powerful attack against their enemies. That said, it’s recommended that Bags of Dragonite be used sparingly and only when necessary. This is not only because there are so few Bags of Dragonite out there in the world, but that to use them you must use up all of the powder inside of them, making them only good for a single attack at a time.
Item Usage[]
When a fighter picks up the Bag of Dragonite they’ll carry it in their off hand until they are ready to use it. With another press of the attack button, the fighter will sprinkle the Bag of Dragonite over their head and transform into a dragon! While in their dragon form, fighters become about the size of Bowser, no matter what their previous size was, and will prepare a massive fire breathing attack. This flame breath comes out as a large gout of flame that reaches all the way from one side of Battlefield to the other and heavily damages anything in its way. The dragon will continue to spit the flames for a couple seconds before they recede completely and the fighter transforms back into their normal form. While this attack is mighty, be careful to aim it just right as when a fighter is transformed they cannot move and are vulnerable to being attacked from behind. While they’ll take no knockback in this form, they can be freely damaged during this time.
