A low-ranking member of the Beast Pack, Awoofy are a dime a dozen in the titular Forgotten Land. As Kirby traverses its grasslands, seas, deserts, mountains, and skies, one thing's for certain—he's going to run into this adorable, fox-like foe. In this sense, they take the place of Waddle Dees in previous Kirby titles, who Kirby must now save from this not-so-cuddly canines!
Fight Pattern[]
Awoofy may be initially found in a number of ways, like in an inquisitive, standing idle position, or walking, crawling, or running about a stage in a variety of patterns like back-and-forth or straight ahead. It doesn't run very fast, though, with those stubby little legs. So, its movements can almost always be telegraphed. It can't make sharp turns, so it'll scoot a little as it turns left or right in an opponent's direction.

If Awoofy gets you in its sights, it'll lock-in and chase you down. If it gets close enough, it'll swipe its paws at its foe, dealing minor damage.
