The Autumn Forest is the second stage of Pop Star that Kirby explores during the events of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. This area features a peaceful looking forest during the autumn season with a mountainous region nearby. When Kirby gets to the end of this section he runs across Adeleine possessed by Dark Matter. After Kirby defeats her painted foes he manages to free her of Dark Matter’s influence and convinces her to join him on his journey.

Autumn Forest is a grounded stage with walkoffs to either side. This stage also features three tree stumps that can be fought on top of as platforms. They are solid all the way through so you can’t pass in front of them. There is also a smaller platform on a lift that will start out in the top right corner of the stage where it will hang out for a bit before it begins making a slow trip down to the bottom left. Again, the platform will stay in place for a short time before it begins making the trip back up to where it began.
If a battle takes place on this stage and Adeleine isn’t fighting on it you can sometimes find her in the background standing on top of one of the three tree trunks where she will be busy painting her latest masterpiece. If Adeleine is fighting in the battle, but Kirby isn’t then you might see Kirby painting on one of the tree trunks instead as Kirby wears Adeleine’s hat.
