Articuno is one of the three Legendary Birds which are primarily found in the Kanto region. Articuno is said to have wings made of ice and is able to chill the air it flies through and cause snow to fall with just a flap of its wings. While Articuno is an Ice/Flying type, a strange Psychic/Flying variant of Articuno has been seen in the Galar region’s Crown Tundra.
Attack Description[]
With a beat of its wings Articuno will float up slightly into the air and face towards the side of the screen with the greater amount of opposing fighters. A flurry of snow and ice will beat out from Articuno’s wings creating a large cone of cold energy to spread out from Articuno. Fighters who are in this blizzard will take constant hits of damage as long as they remain in the storm and will have a chance to be frozen with each hit that increases based on how much damage they’d taken. Additionally, fighters that make contact with Articuno’s body will take a light amount of damage and knockback with a high chance to be frozen.
