Known as “The Original One” and the master of both the Creation Trio and the Lake Guardians, Arceus is believed to have created the entire Sinnoh region and possibly the entire world of Pokemon. Arceus’ unique ability Multitype allows it to change type based on what item it is holding. Special elemental Plates and the elemental Z-Crystals are the only items that trigger this ability however. Some believe Arceus to be the God of Pokemon and its ability to create more Pokemon at will may just be evidence of that.
Attack Description[]
When Arceus hits the field it will let out a loud cry before looking up towards the heavens. A brilliant orb of swirling colors will materialize in front of Arceus’ face before it gets fired up into the sky. A few seconds will pass where nothing seems to happen at first, before a bevy of small colorful meteors begins to fall down from above. 18 of these meteors will fall with each a different color to represent the 18 different types of Pokemon. While there may be an aesthetic effect to the different meteors such as the Fire-type one hitting with a flaming effect, each meteor has the same effective properties when hitting opponents. The meteors fall down semi-randomly as they try to hit around the fighters but don’t completely home in on their locations. Each one will deal a moderate amount of damage and knockback.
