Assist Trophy Info[]

The son of Dracula and originally named Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes, Alucard changed his name to be a reversal of Dracula’s to symbolize how he opposed his father and his way of life. Alucard has long stood against his father and those like him which was first observed when Trevor Belmont came to destroy Dracula. Together the two of them alongside Sypha Belnades and Grant Danasty worked together to destroy Dracula. Despite his good intentions in ridding the land of a great evil, Alucard’s guilt over committing patricide caused him to enter a deep sleep. He would later awake during a time of tragedy when a future Belmont, Richter, would be seduced by evil and manipulated into helping to resurrect Dracula. Once again, with the help of a Belmont and Maria Renard, Alucard would be forced to defeat his father once again.

Mode of Assistance[]

Upon being summoned, Alucard will utter either “Out of my way!” or “Suffer me!” before beginning to dynamically move about and join the fray with a few different attacks. One such attack involves running at opponents and swinging his blade, the Crissaegrim, at opponents. Like in the original games, his sword is not actually visible during these attacks and instead you can only see the flashes of his sword slashes. Alucard is also capable of using the Power of Misit to become intangible and moving through both walls as well as through opponent’s attacks. Alucard can also turn into a swarm of bats with his Soul of Bat transformation. With this Alucard can fly about and slam into an opponent for a hard-hitting Wing Smash attack. Finally, like many other Castlevania characters, Alucard is capable of using both a jump kick as well as a back dash as part of his repertoire of attacks.
