Enemy Info[]
Affinities are a common enemy in Bayonetta and the basic grunts of the Angel's armies. Though they have five different variants that all attack in different ways, each of them can be easily dealt with by Bayonetta and whatever weaponry you desire.
Fight Pattern[]
For Smash, only 3 of the five Affinity variants are being brought into the game. Each one has it's own different weapon and attack that it uses to harm players. They're attacks are not very strong and they're one of the slower enemies when it comes to movement speed. Affinities do not round around on the platforms, as they instead will fly around. However, after they've been damaged they'll scream a war cry and go into a berserk state as they chase you around with enhanced speed and attacking strength. It's advisable that you take them out in one hit.
Attacks[]
Affinity A[]
A spiked staff wielding Affinity (the one pictured), Affinity A will chase a player down when they get close enough to them and attack with quick slashes with their staff. Weakest attack of the three Affinity variants, but Affinity A flies the fastest towards his enemies.
Affinity B[]
A long-range fighter, Affinity B wields a trumpet from which it fires pink and gold orbs of celestial energy. Affinity B prefers to hang back away from the players and keep a strong distance from them. It's attacks however can be reflected back at it to damage and temporarily stun it allowing the player to move in quickly and defeat it.
Affinity D[]
The strongest and slowest of the three Affinities, Affinity D wields a large flail and tends to stay in the area where it spawned as opposed to flying around. It's flail can be swung for a higher amount of damage and works as both a close-ranged melee weapon and a long-range swing.
