The Psi Pokemon, Abras are known for being able to detect danger through a telepathic radar which they’ll commonly use to flee battles when encountered in the wild. Though they sleep for 18 hours a day, they’re psychic prowess allows them to teleport away even while sleeping. With the ability Synchronize, Abras are able to psychically inflict the burned, paralyzed, and poisoned status effects on other Pokemon so long as that Pokemon inflicted Abra with that same status effect first.
Attack Description[]
With Abra on the field it will start out floating in mid-air appearing to be asleep. At random moments Abra will teleport from one point on the stage to another. Abra will teleport next to one of the fighters before grabbing hold of them and teleporting somewhere else with them. More often than not, Abra will carry the fighter to be either above a bottomless pit or just beyond the edges of the stage and will drop them. If the fighter doesn’t try to recover they’ll end up KO’d! Sometimes Abra will rapidly teleport several times to various points before teleporting to a fighter and carrying them away. Abra doesn’t disappear after just don’t one teleport and will actually hang around to cause trouble for about 16 seconds.
